Hen With Very Watery Poop, and Laying Soft Shelled Eggs

Unfortunately, the feed store doesn't have the Corid in-stock right now and they aren't sure when they'll get it in. So I may need to order it online. Which would you recommend -- the powder, or the liquid?

In the meantime, have you found out whether I can use Valbazen with the Fish Zole? If so, I may try giving the Valbazen today if it's safe.

Call other feed stores in your area and see if they sell Corid, Amprol or AmproMed.

Just checked my book and metronidazole is not listed in the Valbazen drug interactions.

Unfortunately, the Corid didn't do anything to help. This hen is now on Tylan 50 injectible. She now has swollen, crusty eyes. It appears that some of the other hens are getting it too. I've added Tetroxy HCA-280 to the coop's drinking water in the hopes that the others that are showing symptoms get better without resorting to the injections.

Out of curiosity, this hen is actually due today for her 2nd dose of Valbazen. Should I hold off on giving it to her, or would it be okay even if she's on Tylan 50?

Sorry, but just wondering if I should give 2nd dose of Valbazen (today is day 10) if this hen is now on Tylan 50. Or should I wait until she gets thru her 5 days of Tylan 50?

hmmm. Watching this thread too. Whatever my hen has seems to be clearing up on its own as long as it isn't hot outside, but then her eggs aren't soft, just the watery poo, going to do ACV in the water. Her eggs aren't as soft and her stool is not as explosive so perhaps not as severe. Just processed a roo and he didn't have worms and she was his favorite hen to pester so I'm thinking she is not wormy.

Most worms are too small to see. Roundworms and tapeworms are the only two you would notice.
