ive seen this b4 in an EE hen and just went away but this BR pullet started it and i thought it would go away like last time my EE had it but now her eyes are swollen and none of the others in her pen have it idk wat it is

All of us don't know the text messaging abbreviations so please communicate the 'old fashioned' way.

From what I can understand you have a chicken with watery eyes that will not heal and you do have a chicken with a similar problem that did go away.

This might be the start of something serious so keep an eye on your flock and report any other symptoms. In the mean time get some contact lens solution (saline) and soak a cotton ball. Use it to gently wipe the chickens eyes 4 times a day. It will help sooth them and has gentle germ killing properties.

This might be all you need but just in case get some water soluable poultry vitamins for their water and up their nutrition with chopped greens, scrambled eggs and plain yogurt. If they are fighting something they will need all the nutrition they can get.

Watch the flock carefully. Birds have a way of not showing illness until it is almost too late.

***UPDATE*** i went out there to treat her and found she had a runny nose i cleaned her eyes and then dropped some saline into them put electrolytes in her water and am now pumping her with fresh foods
