1) speckled sussex laying pullet, 9 months old, average weight I guess
2) her behavior is normal
3) I've noticed the white stuff in corner of both eyes 3 days ago
4) no other birds have this, one other hen, barred rock, is sneezing or coughing a little(sounds more like honking?), other than that all other hens acting normal
5) no visible injuries
6) have no clue what could be causing this, behavior wise, only change is that since weather warmed up and new cockerel started crowing, the top hens have been viciously brutal to her (she's bottom of pecking order), they've been pulling on her head feathers like they were trying to pull/twist her head off.
7) bird free ranges, eats layer crumble, fresh cabbage and drinks rain water, she's eating and drinking fine
8) her poop looks normal that I've seen, but unable to single out all her poops
9) since day 1 have been spraying vetericyn plus in both eyes once daily, for two days have been putting few drops vetrx in her individual water bowl
One of her eyes has shown improvement, she is not scratching her eyes and rubbing them on the ground like she was 3 days ago.
12) her bedding/litter is koop clean and zeolite powder, about a month or so ago started adding a little pine shavings as well
The pic is of the eye that's improving, very hard to get a clear photoof the other.

Have you added any new birds recently in the last couple of weeks? It looks like your hen has conjunctivitis which sometimes is caused by mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) a chronic respiratory disease. It can come into a flock with a non-symptomatic carrier or by wild birds. Other symptoms can be bubbles or foam in the corner of the eyes, sneezing, and crackles when breathing. It can be treated with Tylan 50 injectable given orally, or with Tylosin powder in the water. You can also use Terramycin eye ointment in the eyes twice a day. Birds are carriers for life, so it is a good idea to close your flock to birds coming in or going out. Here is some reading:

Thank you! Hubby listened to her breathing, says she sounds fine. He also checked her head and mouth for odor, says she smelt fine. The puss or mucous in the corner of her eyes is not foamy or bubbly at all. We had no new additions, except the two younguns that hatched in Oct, and they are not kept with the others. I will keep a close watch on her. For now, she is acting normal and not sneezing.
