Henrietta is under the weather...

So I scrambled up an egg, plopped her on my lap, and hand fed her the egg. Took her a little while to respond but eventually she ate up most of it. She seems to have perked up a bit and is even eating some of her regular crumbles in the kennel now. I am sure that she's not out of the woods yet, but nice to see her a little more lively.
If you want to give her the best possible chance, keep her inside where it's warm.

Argh!!! I am so frustrated!!! Hen has now taken over the bathroom where she has access to several types of food, water, electrolytes, heat and lots of places to rest or cuddle up. She is neither improving nor declining. She does not want to eat or drink on her own. I have been hand feeding her about one scrambled egg per day and that seems to keep her going. She is still ambulatory and spent the night perching on the sink. She likes to look at herself in the mirror. I tried to force one ml of a poultry vitamin supplement into her this morning. I think that i got most of it in. She is still strong enough to resist forced feeding so I have not taken it to that extreme. Her poops seem normal, but small in quantity which is not surprising considering her intake levels. Still no idea what is going on...
