Chicken has soft swollen spot under beak

The swelling feels firm but not rock hard, she doesnt flinch or have a strong reaction to having the swollen areas touched, the top of her head by her comb seems also slightly swollen, she has no wounds on her body.

How is she doing today?

Does she have a different smell from your other chickens, more like ammonia?

She has sadly passed away this morning.
:hugsI am very sorry you lost her.
You can send her in to your state vet lab for a necropsy which can be helpful regarding your remaining flock and to get closure.
Keep her refrigerated ( double plastic bag) but not frozen.

Oh I am sorry for your loss. I also recommend a necropsy by your state vet, to get a diagnosis. Have you seen any signs of mites or lice on her or other chickens? Her lower legs appeared very swollen, but with feather legged chickens, it can be hard to see the legs. Her urates looked a bit yellow. I would be curious if she might have had leukosis or another virus that caused tumors or leg swelling. Keeping her body cold, not frozen and contacting your state vet would be well worth it. Here is a list of state vets for you to call:
