They came on Wednesday morning, all are healthy, and are as cute as can be. They moved outside to their new, made just for them, brooder, and they are loving it. Here they are, they can't wait to see you on Sunday!

Altogether we have..

4 blue runners(2 male 2 female)
2 black runners(1 male 1 female)
2 buff ducks(1 male 1 female)
2 blue swedish(1 male 1 female), they sent 1 extra that's a st. run
2 cayugas(1 male 1 female)
1 Crested Pekin(st. run)
2 khaki campbells(1 male 1 female)(these ones are Henrietta23's)

They're leg bands to ID which ones are males and which ones are females, if you order st. run they don't put leg bands on them because you could get either male or female.
 
Aaaaawwww! I can't wait!! DS was sad that we have to bring the chicks to you tomorrow, until I showed him those pictures! We've already named them Pat and Leo after our friends the Campbells. They felt quite honored to have ducks named after them. They have a large number of chickens.

Aw, thanks. But what he really wants is a chick that stays a chick forever. He likes small cute things. That's why I'm think a nice little silkie flock would be perfect for him (and me).

As you can see, their big brother and sister are thrilled to hear they are coming home tomorrow!

Believe it or not that water was clean about half an hour before I took that picture! They hopped right in, splashed around like crazy for a good long time and fell asleep! They must be getting more comfortable with the noise and movement in our backyard because Spotty only cracked an eye open to peek to see if it was just me when I took the picture!
