Hens + 4mo chicks... what do I feed them??

I recently put my (laying) hens and 4 month old chicks together... what should I feed them? It won't be possible to feed them seperately- is it OK for these chicks to have layer feed or do they need the extra protein/vitamins/etc. that's in chick food??

I have a mixed age flock and everyone gets either starter/grower, grower or flock raiser. I never buy layer. I do offer oyster shell separately for the extra calcium that laying hens get in layer feed.
