The white on ears can be white leakage which may be normal for their breeds. If this is a virus, they should get over it in a month. The eggs are safe to eat. Watch for any wrinkled egg shells which is common in IB. Don’t hatch or add new chickens for a year after the last chicken is sick. Close your flock. You can try to get testing to confirm IB, but viruses are a little harder to test for than say, MG or coryza.
