Hens appear sliced open

Not sure if this is predator related or not.
Two nights ago I go out and a younger hen is dead, appears like she was slit down the stomach and opened up. An egg was laying inside of her broken. Tonight another young hen dead. Same, like she was opened up at the stomach.... anyone have something similar?

Pictures? I'm sorry to ask for them, but it may help... What is your flock like? Coop? Run? What general area do you live in? Neighbors?

Is it a clean slice, not clawed or chewed open? Almost sounds like the predator could be human. Motion-sensitive light or alarm would be a start. And locks. And a call to the police. How awful.

But @ButtonquailGirl14 is right. Details are helpful in not jumping to conclusions. Photo of coop (and run, if they have access to the run at night) would also be helpful.

If you have a game camera you might want to put it up to see who the predator is.

Do your hens sleep inside an enclosed coop? Can we get pics of your coop and run setup, showing fences? You say you found your hens at night, was this before or after you closed them up for the night?
