Hens are getting super picky and only want my lunch and not the good quality tractor supply layer crumbles I get them HELP

They just don’t seem to like the normal feed they eat scratch ok but I don’t give them much often as way to get them their oyster shell in a more palatable way but all joking aside I would like to see them run to the feed like they used to while still giving them something they like they are pets so I don’t mind spending a bit

Here's my solution...cut the scratch and treats. No more of that. Let them free range, but don't give them anything but their normal food (and water and oyster shells, obviously.) They should start eating it.

Ok I’ll give it a shot I really enjoy my hens I want them to be healthy but they do love to eat but I’ll cut the crap is there a feed you recommend over the tractor supply

Mine love to eat too, haha.
Purina is good. If your hens are on pellets but dislike it, maybe buy the same feed in a different version. Like crumbles. Or vice versa,

They might be eating when you're not looking. If they're free ranged, they might be eating other things.

They don’t free range that much this time of year just because winter make things sparse and I don’t want them to eat literal garbage that might blow in on the wind they can’t ever seem to pass up a scrap of plastic bag
