Hens comb black spots

can anyone tell me what this is? I'm not so sure it is dry pox/fowl pox? We live in Florida so it is def not frostbite. She stopped laying like two weeks ago but just recently noticed these spots on her comb!

It looks more like she has run against some metal fencing or she could have some insect bites. Fowl pox is a virus carried by mosquitoes, but it does not look like that to me. It can start out looking like this picture with the scabs growing darker in color:

Have you checked the coop and flock members for mites?
Bruising makes sense also.
