Howdy I brought a rooster home today that needed to be rehomed due to too many roosters. I noticed on his comb he has small white bumps. I txted the owner she said she noticed it a few days ago but none of her other Chickens have it. She said if I'm uncomfortable keeping him she’ll take him back so I don’t feel like shes trying to hide anything..I really want him he’s a lovely gentle guy but im worried it could be fowl pox? Thoughts? Anything else it could be? It’s been super cold in Michigan so idk how he would of gotten fowl pox which is transmitted by mosquitoes. I did purchase the fowl pox vaccine online today just in case that’s what it is. But im keeping him isolated from my hens.

Not fowl pox, but perhaps the start of Favus. Do an on site search for more information.
Thanks so much for your response I also saw it could be some kind of fungas or ringworm! Which can be cured with over the counter fungal medicine.
