I been raising chicken for three years, this is the first time I have ever seen this.

My chicken (peep peep) comb goes red, light pink, to purple. She don’t have notes or lice. She comes when we call her, still gets excited and jumps into the cars. (She will be 1 years old in March but started laying eggs the beginning of November) she does not lay eggs everyday which is normal. But I DO KNOW that comb colors can tell you if your chicken is sick. So please, someone help!!! Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

:welcome

I wish it wasn't under these circumstances. :hugs

Looks like possible frostbite to me.
What have the temps been there over the last week?
What breed and how old is this bird?

If any chickens show signs of frostbite of the comb or wattles, they need to be removed from the flock and treated promptly. Soak the limbs (feet, toes and legs) in room temperature Epsom salt water to gradually warm the frostbitten areas. Found this on Google. Hope it helps.

She is the only one with it, none of my other birds have that, the temps been in the 40s, she sleeps on our porch on hay, and this happened between yesterday evening to this afternoon, the temps where in the 50s last night, we do have stray cats running around, the only think I can think of is stress, it’s not frostbite, I’m originally from vermont and have seen that, she is still super healthy, eating fine, runs to me when I call her name, so no out of the ordinary behavior
