Hen's foot swollen, healing from bumblefoot, looks bizarre

So the scabs are beginning to come away from her foot, just the toes are left with scabs on them now...

And suddenly the whole foot has puffed up, swollen. Should I up the dosage of antibiotics?


I have this feeling my SO hasn't been giving her the amount I told him to. Why else would she get worse suddenly after I left her in his care for 3 days?

I'm worried her toes are going to fall off, the rest of the foot is swollen today and it looked fine yesterday. The scabs have fallen off from everywhere except her toes.

Should I give her more antibiotics? Baths? I really don't know what to do, I thought she was getting better!


Please advise me! Is there something I can buy to help the scabs come off? Will she be okay if she loses a toe?

How did you do it- What did you use?

what do you mean by SCABS? Is there more than one area of bumblefoot?

Are you sure it was bumblefoot and not something else?
