We’re getting rid of one rooster because he’s insanely loud and trying to mate with everyone, including my poor ducks. The other one is a bantam who no one takes seriously. And I would like to get more ducks for my drake. I don’t want to end up with too many altogether as well. Just six months ago, I had never owned a bird in my life.

Alright, well if you think you have enough room for more ducks and the chickens, I wouldn't worry about rehoming them.

I'd go ahead and re-home. That drake could kill your hens. There are plenty of stories of that.

I'm sure you'd rather re-home than have them killed by the drake. I'm sure they'll find a good home. They're pretty girls.

I should add that the chickens and ducks were brooded together, which I imagine could complicate things. I was new to this and didn’t know any better until I had them home.
My husband is now talking about a second coop/run... I’m still kind of dreaming of the simplicity of mostly one species....

Bantam, or standard?
Legs look off to be Malay, they're usually yellow. She's certainly gorgeous though.

Funny you mention that - this gal is supposedly the black aseel, but these two look so similar, I honestly don’t know which is which. I though the other is the red malay because of the ticking. They’re standard size. But they’re both from a feed store, so they’re likely diluted.

It seems you maybe right though.
If they came from a feed store, then hatchery Malay, aren't really Malay chickens. They're most likely Aseel mixes.

You're aseel looks like maybe a Cornish Game. The body type isn't right.
