I have 3 Buff orpingtons and 3 Australorps hens They are all under a year old. When they started laying I was getting 4 to 5 eggs a day all of the sudden about 2 months ago they stopped laying down to a egg or 2 a day. On a good day I get 3 eggs. My birds always have plenty of fresh food and water. They also free range most of the time and before anyone asks no they are not laying outside. I might add I switched from a feed that I use to get at a feed store to a Non GMO feed. I did my research on this feed and can find only positive reviews on it Please help

What are the ingredients of this new feed and what is the protein percentage?
Have you checked over your birds for mites at nighttime?
Have they ever been wormed?
How does their poop look...post pics if possible.

Could be the feed, chickens don't like change. Did you change it gradually over a 2 week period? Is the new feed fresh? More expensive feed may sell slowly. Is it a whole grain feed? They should be fed moist or fermented, because the vitamins and minerals are a powder and much gets left behind when fed dry. GC
