hen's head gone...

been awhile since I have had any losses but last night some bad guy
got one of my sitting muscovy hens....
I found her quite a bit from her nest with only her head/neck gone...
all her eggs but two were also gone....

guess I had a false sense of calm since I hadn't had any problems in awhile
and really hate something got her....

don't know what it was but have put her sister, also sitting, into a cage
with her eggs. She was not happy about the move but she will be safe!

Sometimes we have to learn the hard way... glad you moved your other hen thats sitting or whatever got this one would be back for her. Sorry for your loss
