Ok, but will he be fine in a tiny corner for a week?Put him in. That way no other hens get injured.
He will be fine in there for a week. He probably won't be happy about it but he will be fine. Just be sure to secure his water container so he cannot spill it and then end up without water as well as his food dish. He would be likely to spill his water dancing around in frustration wanting out that's why it's important to secure it.Ok, but will he be fine in a tiny corner for a week?
Ok wow! I put the rooster in the cage for the week with food and water bowls secured in. Hopefully he doesn’t crow non-stop and make the neighbors want to shoot the thing! No, it does not sound okay. That hen is going to be bleeding soon. You are asking the petsitter to do what you should have already done. Put Mr. Rooster in the pen with enough food and water for two or three days. The petsitter can probably pour food and water from the roof of the pen and not have to open it up.
As 21hens wrote, he won't be happy about it but he will okay.
