Hens laying eggs in winter

Are the eggs still good to leave in the coop for baby chicks?
Or do I need to get the eggs out of the coop?
And will it depress the hen if I take the eggs?
No.
Yes.
No.

but she is only laying on them at night.
She's not 'laying on the eggs' per se, like she wants to hatch them.
She's sleeping in the nest instead of on the roost, which is not good.
Does she sleep in the nests all the time, or is this a new behavior?

All the time

All the time
Would be good to figure out why and break the habit of nest sleeping.
It's often because of not enough roost length for the number of birds you have.
Dimensions and pics of your coop, inside and out, would help immensely.
Along with numbers, ages, and genders of flock members.
