hens malting

hi i recently got 4 hens and a rooster RIR i have them about 2 weeks they are about 6 months old and have finished malting,i am feeding them layer pellets and a treat of meal worms in the afternoon,they have a quarter acre to free range and a coop at night but still have layed no eggs,how long after malting before they start to lay ? I'm from Ireland,thanks in advance

And I've seen exactly 2 chickens so far! Where are they all? LOL

Are you sure your chickens are 6 months old and just finished molting? They are way young to be molting... They should be laying about now if they are 6 months old, but make sure they get minimum 14 hours of good light every day.
