Hi all. I'm in north central Ma. I'm looking for six more chickens. Brown egg layers. I have six RIR now. Will take more or other breeds. Looking locally before I start searching. Thanks.

let me know if you are interested in sharing an order from a breeder. i am interested in barnevelders and welsummers. i have a source for welsummers. they charge $6 chick, shipping included, straight run, disease free (not just NPIP). last i checked, they had a wait of 3-4 weeks.

you can look at ghabbardhatchingeggs.com to read up on welsummers. they are brown egg layers and lay more than marans according to this site.

depending on where in MA you are, i could meet you half way to divvy up the order.
