Hens not laying...UPDATED NOW WITH PROBLEM NEED ANSWER ASAP. Pic Pg 2

My older hen laid an egg today!!! Nice hard shell...I think it was my younger hen who laid the shellless egg since she is my new layer and it is common for a new layer to lay a shelless egg. However I do believe my girls are wanting to go broody...so this is why i believe egg production with them has slowed.
 
Spring is in the air...our girls want to be mommies. I now have 4 broody girls. and I have given them all 4 eggs to sit on.

My silkie we got her maybe 3 months ago she layed eggs for 3 days and ate one

. Then she stpoed laying all together for about 2 mons OMG drove me nuts took her out away from other hens. Then she moved herself in with the ducks her and the roo

I was like what on earth. She then layed eggs for a week since she had a history of eating them we snaged them and threw them in bator. She has not layed a egg in 2 weeks

and the ducks were getting huge and crowding them out. So we made the silkies there own house and run closier to our house away from the big barn. I just totaly dont get these silkies i mean 8 eggs in 3 months

I learned it from another BYC member who told me to take an egg and lightly roll it across the coop or run not breaking it. If one runs to it and starts to peck at it. There is your egg eater.

Be sure not to break the egg because any chicken will eat a broken egg.
