(Oddly this reminds me of someone in my high school who let her pet lizard perch on her hair during classes one day... there were a lot of little screams as her "hair clip" kept moving.)

Y’all are cracking me up...and yes, I spoil my hens...they’re my hobby and sanity...and I’m a horrible gardener, so I buy the already dried herbs...whether it helps with laying or not, it definitely makes the coop smell nicer
