Hens not setting on their eggs...?

With some hens there's nothin stoppin them!


Silkies are notoriously broody, so I imagine that you'll get lucky eventually. Probably right before Easter or some time when you WANT eating eggs for egg salad at the big family dinner

Ok, I have pullets. I thought she was going to go broody because she was staying on the box for long periods of time. She is still adding eggs to the pile. There are 13 now. But she still is not commiting. Is this normal for a pullet to do this because she hasn't done it before?
