Hens not sitting..update!

Hen finally sitten"Dolly" on for about a week now..Hoo Hoo!! Thanks for your replies....Is it common for the other girls to pick on Holly when comes out to eat???

Yes, same thing happens to my little silkie hens when I get them up to go out for a quick bite and get some water; the others want to pick on her, peck and run after her, etc.

So, I have started just scooping up the setting hens and taking them out with me to their pens and staying with them while they eat a bit, just DARING any of the others to bother them; seems to be working!
