thanks for your replies i have approximated their age to be about 4mths old roughly we got them on the 28th may at around age 3wks as a replacement for my 12yr olds pet bantam who died. the lady wasnt sure of when they hatched or even what breed just had them locked in a dog kennel with a clucky bantam for their safety all 18 of them lol

They are definately pullets. A boy would have quite a comb by now.
