Hens or Roo's Please Help....

I am agreeing with Spikennipper. That polish looks like it has an awful lot of spiky feathers in it's crest to be a pullet, and the stance is more roo like. Would it be possible to post more pics of that polish with closer up pics of the comb and frontal shots head shots and maybe a better view of the feathers in front of the tail so we can see if there are any saddle feathers coming in there?

Are these pic's ok? It's amazing how hard it is to take a picture of a chicken. She just keep moving and turning and running. Had to bribe her with some spinach.

I suck at sexing tophat birds, but I do know this.....if that polish is a male, and you bred him to that barred rock pullet, you'd get sex linked blue hens! And blue barred sex link males--also very pretty.

Ty for the new pictures. From the side the crest feathers looked spiky but the front view shows they are for sure rounded on the tips. I don't see any saddle feathers either. I am doing a 360. I think you have a pullet there. Posting those new pics on the Polish page here on BackYard Chickens will get you a definite confirmation on that. That is a really pretty bird.

Can't find where I should post the pictures??? Did get to read a lot about them though. 1 thread said that they just stand in the rain and don't even try to get shelter, so you have to go out and put them in the coop. Really?
