which is a better bird to eat a Cornish x hen or rooster? I want to buy some chicks but dont know whats best

Roosters get bigger and make for nicer roasters. But personally I prefer straight run! Get a mixture of both!

I agree with straight run....some for roasting and some to cut up for fryers

Both will taste the same if you process before 14-16 weeks. After that, the boys may develop a slightly different flavor or have more texture, but most don't let them get to that point.

Well I dont know if I will have them cut up for frying I usually like to cook whole chickens. I guess I will get straight run if there is no difference between the two.
