Hens or Roosters????

We have these two Golden Comets that are supposed to be pullets but these two birds have larger combs and are slightly bigger than the othe Golden Comets. They have us guessing.

Ok # 2 looks more like a production red roo... 99% sure they're both roos
I'm sure someone else with slightly more experience will chime in soon, they are pretty boys though

My Gold Star pullet...yours looks like a roo to me.

My Production Red or Rhode Island Red, undecided as of yet, pullet, yours looks like a roo...anyone else?

I believe I'm seeing long, skinny, pointy saddle feathers on both and I definitely see long, skinny, pointy hackle feathers on the production red. That would mean they are both boys. Sorry.

The 2nd one is a rooster. But I am not 100% sure on the 1st one. How old are they?

That's ok we are not dissapointed. They are 13 weeks.

yeah I see saddles on both, nice and shiny too, I say boys to both but atleast all the rest are hens!

Thanks teeville5, akcountrygrrl and missred871 we agree they are. They are shinny and have beautiful coloring. Yes so we ended up with 10 hens. So we are thinking we made out pretty good.
