Hens or Roosters?

Hmm, I'm not seeing a 50/50 hatch percentage here! This place looks like, "Roo-R-Us"

When you order from a hatchery, which is where most folks get their birds, you can order girls only. There are chicken sexers, who basically toss the little roosters aside cause no one wants them. Many many day old roosters are culled as no one wants as many hens as roos. But the hatcheries hatch out fifty-fifty. Trust me, they'd love to find a way to sex an egg at fertilization, it'd save them a ton of money!
