I have 2 hens that have a couple bald spots...feathers can't grow back because of others pecking at them. What can I do?

Look at your coop and run to make sure they are not overcrowded. Chickens need about 4 square feet in the coop and much more in the run, and they need to get outside to roam. A lack of protein in the diet, too much light inside the coop, and boredom are other possible causes. Sometimes BluKote spray to hide bare spots, or an ointment or cream such as Nustock, pine tar, Bag Balm or just plain sticky vaseline may help prevent pecking.
