Have a chicken with a bald spot, found out the feathers weren't growing back because the other hens were eating the pin feathers
Tried a hat. Hen immediately knocked it off before I even put her back on the run.
Any tips? It's on the back of her head

Ok, what's their diet, and how big is their coop?
I do only have 2 hens that would be tall enough to reach, so pinless peepers wouldn't be that much of a hassle
I'm not sure the size right now, but I know my one hen should be pretty high protein because she eats so many grubs
I'd assume it's probably her friend Abby

Grubs are actually mostly fat, they shouldn't be getting too many.
It's junk food, if they eat too many, they don't eat they're real food.

Yeah I've been limiting her time in the leaf pile lately because I've noticed she's just too good! The other hens barely find as many as her
