Hens scratch their beaks on the ground?

Mine wipe their beaks on the ground, and if they can, they will find concrete and wipe their beaks on it.

I think I need to have my kids go out to the coop and learn something from the chickens. lol

I've seen mine do it on the wrung of a roost...the last time, she was attempting to get up on the top wrung with 3 others and one of my Polish was pecking at her...she looked like she was readying herself for a good ol' fight! LOL
