Her? feathers are starting to rise.

I hatched this six week old chicken. She? came out of a small lightly tinted egg. Is she mixed with a Polish chicken? The feathers on her? head are starting to stand up.

My avatar is Petrie as a hatchling.

My three Cochin/Silkie x Barred Rock girls all have that slight pouf. Silkie blood is strong!! LOL. None of mine have feathered legs, though one does have a feather stub on one leg.

Shes a cutie!! I would also say a silkie cross. I have silkie/cochin x and they have the top not.

I was wondering about the silkie/ee cross. Her? legs are black and the bottoms are yellow. I have been waiting to see if her legs turn green but they are staying black. The picture does give them a greenish tinge against the blue pants background.
