I have a buckeye hen... hatchery quality. She's smart, I mean for a chicken. LOL But I've seen her think about something and figure it out. She was the first one of her group to figure out that I ALWAYS have kitchen scraps or treats, and would come before I'd call. If she starts running for me, they all do. LOL

I have heard they are smart and confident and friendly. I wanted one but there was something goofy with the available dates so I didn’t decide to order one.

Oh, yes please! I would surely be pleasantly surprised if I got a Buckeye after having given up on that idea this year
