Here are our new baby brahmas!

We picked up our babies from the post office today. They survived the 150-mile trip from Cackle Hatchery (and the coos from the post office personnel), and they are perky and peepy and exploring their new home. They are very good drinkers already! This is the first time I've ever raised chicks, and I thank you all for your very helpful posts. I can't tell them apart yet, but so far, so good.

What kind of brahmas are these white chicks? I have never seen them so white before...

They are "light brahmas." At least, that's what I ordered, and I think they are actually brahmas because of their fuzzy feet. But I am a newbie, so I wouldn't be able to tell otherwise ...

We have a light Brahma that looked just like that when we got her. Now she is about 2 weeks old, and has black in her wings.
