That printer on the cover looks like a HP printer. Which "simply works" for the low low price of your sanity and $99.99 every week.

Today I had to deal with setting up our printer again. It wipes the wifi password when you connect it over ethernet. It also has the wifi die on me every so often. I ended up getting mad and plugging it into the shiny new living room ethernet port because typing a password on that STUPID LITTLE SCREEN is too much effort.

I have a 15 year old HP LaserJet. This was a replacement for the 20+ year old LaserJet that I didn't bring with me when I moved. Those things are work horses that never quit.

I'm picturing a pot boiling over with starchy noodle water, which then cements itself to the heating element. Followed by a fine dusting of cheese powder over every surface. Finish with a single macaroni noodle, artfully arranged on the stovetop, a smearing of cheese sauce brushed lightly over the top.

No. But the starchy water does boil over and leaves a baked-on starchy ring on the stove top in a ring around where the pot was sitting. It does not wipe off with just a wet rag (after the stove cools off). Takes scrubbing with Bartender's Friend and a paper towel and may even need gentle scraping with a razor blade. Kind of a pain.

Hmm, considering that I

A. Use cast iron and
B. Have a 1 gallon steel water bottle that I often set on the stove when coming home

A glass stove wouldn't last very long around here, I'll stick with the usual traditional stove top

Neither do I. It would end up just taking up precious space and getting little to no use. I don't enjoy frying food nor do I particularly care for fried food. I'll eat it but I prefer baked or grilled

Mercy! Why would I do that? I treat people the way I want to be treated, not the way they treat me.

My sister has one of those ninja ice cream thingies. I'm disappointed in it. The stuff that thing outputs doesn't have a smooth texture, and it melts far too fast. And it doesn't really feel creamy.

Meanwhile, she also makes ice cream in a rectangular pan, and that stuff lives up to my expectations. It's creamy, it's smooth, it doesn't melt the instant you put it in a bowl, and it's good.
