Here comes the FLOOD!

Say "hello" to my little brother. He's one of the guardsmen sleeping in those "chicken coops".

When all of this is done and over and the hard part begins it would be great if you could put out a list of things you could use so those of us who have lived this vicariously with you (but not suffered like you and your family have) can do something, any little thing to help. I know I speak for a lot of folks here when I say it would make me feel good to be able to do something to help.

I so admire your strength!! I'm going to be a blubbering idiot when it gets here. Prayers going out for you...hang in there!!

I've been following this thread and praying for you! We lost our home (a log cabin ironically) and belongings 4 years ago when the Wichita River flooded. We were in South Dakota when it happened, nothing we could do. I get tears in my eyes seeing your pictures. I am so so sorry you're having to deal with all of this

I haven't come into this area of BYC until tonight. So to say, I've been reading for hours, holding my breath, silently praying for better news along the way and tearing up when it just gets more dire. There's not much that makes me speechless, and right now I am. Your perseverance through this is what sticks in my mind, it seems like a way of life for you and you seem to take it in stride. Inside you must be quivering though. It seems so different reading it from someone's perspective who is LIVING it, not just seeing it on the daily news.

Please know that you are ALL in my prayers. Mother Nature is giving a lot of sucker punches this year globally. Please stay safe above all else. Things can be replaced, but lives can't.

I too would like to help when you're ready.

More rain is in the forcast for southeast Arkansas. Please pray that the rain holds back....at least until it gets past the Mississippi River tributaries. It is very overcast skies today and looks like it could storm anytime.

In North Central Arkansas here. On a little mountain. I have read since you started posting and you and yours are in my prayers. When the time comes your family on BYC are here and we all would like to help in some way.

I think we can all agree on this one!! We are continuing to pray for all of you affected by this. I can't even fathom what you are going through. Seeing the before pictures really helps us grasp how much water is actually there! Praying that they are wrong and it has already crested and on it's way back down. Will also pray that any rain will come my way and stay away from you guys!
