Here are the newest members of our flock just after we brought them home. They have feathered out some in the last 7 weeks. Pics to come.

Our new chicks are still a bit nervous around the larger girls, but getting better.

Our little flock of eight is doing very well, all the birds are happy and healthy. We do have one barred rock that is moulting right now. The poor girl looks kind of sad, but at least the weather has warmed up for her.

This year we will be shifting our little flock. Our new chickens will be Welsummer, 2, and Light Sussex, 6.
