Yep, that's my week to collect eggs for myself! Gonna be babies, babies, babies popping out all over.
 
I hope everything goes well with them! It's the worst when they are fully formed but don't hatch. Feels like such a waste!

I wanted to let you know, all but 5 of my eggs look great! Those 5 are pretty dark shelled, so I haven't given up hope on them yet! Could just be my flashlight is too wimpy. All my Blue orp crosses and all Silver and Charlotte's look great. Soooo excited!

It also looks like they'll have a bunch of white leghorns to play with. I got 18 eggs off ebay, one cracked (my fault), one clear and all the rest are on day 18 as of 1:30am tommorrow.

I set 12 Langshan eggs on the 16th. Oh, and one egg from my Salmon Faverole/Polish(roo) I just wanted to see what beauty might come from that! LOL
My langshans are a black roo, one black hen, and 2 white hens...Hmmm.. 17 days to go! Cynthia...I cant waite to see what you hatch. You ALWAYS have the most beautifull babies there!

My eggs are on the way. I asked the lady not to ship if they would get stuck in transit over T-day. She did anyway. UGH! Everybody keep your fingers crossed for me.

Charlotte's baby has hatched and Silver's is pipped really well and resting. Today is Day 21. The one hatched is blue-yippee! But what a big baby! Most of Charlotte's babies seem pretty large, but then, she is a stockier body type than Silver in the first place.
