ok, so I’ve started to notice a difference in waddle and tail feathers in my two buff orpington pullets....are they both pullets or do I have a cockerel? They are 11 weeks old now...

The one has a tail that sticks up and her waddles are bigger than the other one who’s tail is down and has almost no waddle

Thanks! I was hoping I was just getting paranoid for nothing! these 4 girls are my first chicks I got and are my oldest (I got them as 2 day old chicks and they’re now 11 weeks old) I have 10 more chicks that hopefully will be going out to the coop tomorrow if we can get the other side finished. I got a little nervous because it looks like 3-4 of the 6 GLW “pullets” I bought are cockerels :he and I just rehomed an Easter Egger pullet that was for my son that turned out to be a cockerel.....I guess I’m just seeing cockerels everywhere now lol

Ok, so I’m back and again about my 2 buff orpingtons. Today my SIL came over and she’s been raising chickens for years now. Anyways she was checking out my set up and looking at my chickens and she thinks my 1 buff orpington is a cockerel...:barnie

So they are now 14 weeks old and the one definitely has a dark comb and larger waddles than the other, also the legs appear to be thicker and (s)he has some coloration appearing in the tail... no crowing at all, only clucking. (S)he is the first to greet me every morning and will come up for pets and let me hold her...all things I thought cockerels wouldn’t do. The last pic is one of my other orpington which is smaller, tail is held differently and the comb and wattles are not as noticeable. Thoughts?
