The "time out area" was actually gonna be a turkey transport cage. However, I decided to steer clear of them so i put it in the run. I put a tarp on it and now the chickens use it as a shady lounging area. They love it under there. I will get some interior pics asap.

How do you keep your birds from flying out? My birds a always testing their wings all the time in my run, they are young though.

I guess they have enough room not to want to fly out.......they seem very content just being inside the run. Im hoping to get some finishing details done this weekend. I will definitely get the pics up when I do. Thanks for all the compliments. I really just did this on a whim. I was off work for a week and got bored. Looked around the property and pretty much got everything you see, without spending any money. I probably have about $125 out of pocket on this. (I owe that to my wife, she taught me how to be frugal).

Very nice- I wish I had that much space! I live on a steep slope so had only a small area to put the run in. For 5 months of the year, the girls can go outside with me during the day for "walks" but will be confined to a 4 x 10 foot space the rest of the time.

I got 43 in the run, 20 something in an incubator and another 18+ on the way........but you are correct I dont have enough
