Here is my free chick from McMurray! What is it? (PICS)

This is the free chick I got with my order of red star pullets from McMurray. Maybe a barred rock or black star roo. What do you guys think?

that my friends I believe to be a cuckoo marans (has white legs) and is a rare breed the free chicks are supposed to be rare breeds. She/ He also looks like my cuckoo hens when they were chicks

I believe it's the cuckoo maran as well. I have one from Mcmurray too. It's a lot like my BR chicks...but is feathering out much lighter in color...

This is my free chick from MMM.I thought he was an australorpe.He looks like yours.Never had a Cuckoo Maran but now you guys got me thinking???

I raise the Black Australopes and the Cuckoo Marans and I can say for sure that it is very, very, hard to tell these two breeds apart as chicks. I have to put them in seperate hatchers. Anyway, I believe you have a cuckoo maran because they include a rare chick, and a Black Australope is not rare.
