Strange reply from the knowledgable one with five thousand posts. Sam is three years old and very tame.( As in jumps in your lap tame. ) We've had many, many green eggs. FYI, that's not necessarily a posture for mating. It's more of a submissive posture meaning I'm the boss. They do it with other hens too, but you knew that...... HAHA

I've only had chooks for 6 months, none of whom are 'pet type tame', and in fact did not know that a hen would submit squat for another hen, never read about it or seen it happen.
......and it was an off the cuff joke about the submissive posture after viewing your 30 second video....which I greatly enjoyed because there's not much funnier than watching chickens run.
