This is our year old Buff Orpington rooster named after George Foreman the heavy weight champion of the world at one time, and with good reason! He is always looking for a sneaky upper cut or knock out punch when we are around his girls so to speak. He is a great protector of the flock and crows to no end when there is alarm to alert everyone. A lawn leaf rake is a good protector when fearless George is around. It is important to close the gate when gathering eggs and doing maintenance in the coop. You never want to turn your back on this man. A gentleman around humans he is not. His natural inborn instincts of being a rooster explains his attitude well. We kind of nicknamed him "BIG GEORGE". We think he could go 15 rounds with anyone in the ring!
Watch em George! What a beautiful comb you have. A tasty bug is about to become a morsel for one of your lady friends. The girls are just starting to get their feathers back after a long winter and a very busy rooster named "George".
