Heres my brooder, what do you think??? Please look!

Even if the temperature is hot where you live- the ducklings will still need a heat source and something to protect them from any drafts. They can chill and die quickly- especially if they get a bit wet from playinging the drinking water.

Also a wire floor is not good for their fragile feet- you might need to put something else on the floor as well.

ETA: And it is VERY easy to wash. There is so much on the roll, you can cut it specifically for your brooder and have several pieces to use. When you are ready to change out the liner, you can put in another liner while you wash (warm water and soad) the used liner.

I don't know if you have a store named "Dollar Tree" in your area but that is where I bought mine from. There were only $1.00!!!

Oh, I will. And yes we have a dollar tree somewhere here, my mom doesnt have money for it, and when I say no money I mean nothing, but I can find something im sure lol. Pics coming soon......

they will play in the water, they will empty it out, and they'll manage to wet down everything within a foot of the sides near the waterer...
if you've got a slightly larger tub, one the pen will fit inside, you could use that. maybe elevate the cage on bricks inside it so they stay dry out of the runoff...
and it needs a warmer. otherwise, looking good!

That's great! What breeds did you get and where did you get them from?

I got 4 welsh harlequins, and two rouens. And I got them from metzer farms
