Here's my coop! Thanks for everyone's help!

Thanks everyone!
Next up:
1. Electricity (or the waterers will freeze)
2. Treat/seal/paint exterior (or the T1-11 will "deleaminate")
3. Build a run (can't afford to have the girls "freerange" with my dogs anymore)

Hmm...dog run or chicken run though?

that looks fantastic.

If you want to get a really good deal on paint and/or stain, do what I did. Check the local paint stores and or hardware stores that sell paint and just ask them if they have any paint and/or stain that they messed up color tinting. I just explained that it was for a chicken coop and I didn't want to pay alot for paint and they were more than happy to show me their mess-ups! I know you are thinking the colors might be ugly but I got lucky with two separate stops at the paint store. They usually sell the screw-ups for $5 a gallon. Can't beat that!! It's worth checking out anyways. Just make sure to look for an exterior paint, satin or better for easier clean up if you have to pressure wash it later. Oh! Another tip, use a flat exterior paint for your primer coat. Again, $5 mess up paint.

You can check out my paint job on my BYC page. I'm frugal but fussy.
