I need to look at this later. Sorry on the smiley, I see someone beat me to it.

I wish there were byc'ers who lived close by I would definately do that! We will get it here one way or the other! I'm praying the rain holds off so we can go and check it out today and then hopefully can work on it today and/or tomorrow. Keep sending good thoughts this way that this all works out!

I just got a coop about that size. My friend & I jacked it up with crow bars,& blocks of wood until it was 2 foot off the ground. Then backed the trailer under it part way. Then we wet the trailer down, & slid it rite on. It took us about 3 hours.

I hire help from Craigslist every now and then! Kids with trucks looking for work. And sometimes folks advertise that they have trailers and will do hauling! Have you tried looking there?

if you can get someone to move it for you I would put platic over the windows and run 2x4's along the walls over the windows makeing sure to nail on the frames as well as the barn so it wont twist, and I would also cross brace the inside of the shed with 2x4's to keep the shed together when its moved.

you could always drop the roof and that would give you more clearance for moving it ( just a thought ) We had to do that with my old shed when we moved it across town a few years back and we just cross braced it and it made the trip just fine ( and this shed had to be lifted with a craine over 2 house's to get it in place )

we are all hoping you get your coop

I emailed this info to my brother. LOL I'll wait and see what he has to say about that. He'll probably find some excuse why it can't be done.

I haven't ruled out the mover for $200 but if we can do it ourselves I would rather try that.

Okay once we get it here, what should we use it for...chickens, peafowl, goats, or a greenhouse/craft/getaway for me?
