Here's Zippy! (Updated)

Lone hatcher out of 8 Japanese eggs. Poor little lonely booger. Looking for another bantam chick to keep him/her company but no luck so far.

Zippy's fuzz looks funny. The parents were both straight grey Japanese but I'm wondering if Zip isn't going to frizzle or go silkie. Can anyone tell this young, 24 hrs old?

No luck finding bantam friends for Zippy so picked up a cuckoo Maran and an Americauna that hatched yesterday. Zippy doesn't seem to mind being the shrimp and is being way more active and perky looking already .

He's so addorible! I have a cat named Zipporah but we call her Zippy
