They have been a good breed for me, but I want to try something else. These birds are multi-purpose, standard size, and hardy. They are a heritage breed and lay medium sized brown eggs. I have one rooster and 6 or 7 hens. I will be going to some of the swaps in northern Indiana, so I can bring them along. These birds are from John Blehm of ChickHatchery.com.
